George Kollitides, II
CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER
George K. Kollitides, II is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Aegis Capital Advisors (“ACA”). He also holds the titles of the firm’s Senior Managing Director and Managing Principal.
In addition to his role with ACA, Mr. Kollitides is a senior executive at the leading private equity firm Alvarez & Marsal Capital, where he is a partner and member of the Investment and Compliance Committees within Alvarez & Marsal Capital Opportunities (“AMCO”), the fund’s lower middle-market growth strategy. Mr. Kollitides has 30 years of transaction, strategy and operations experience investing in and operating middle-market companies undergoing organic growth, consolidation, ownership transitions, operational challenges or other catalysts requiring capital and sophisticated partners. An experienced executive, he has served as a CEO, Chairman, Lead Director or Director on public, private and non-profit boards, including as a member or Chairman of Compensation and Audit Committees helping middle-market companies scale and professionalize.
Prior to joining AMCO, Mr. Kollitides was Chairman and CEO of the Remington Outdoor Company (“ROC”), a Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. (“Cerberus”) owned global consumer products company developed by acquiring and consolidating over twenty businesses. Prior to ROC, Mr. Kollitides was a Managing Director at Cerberus, one of the world’s largest investment managers, where he invested in middle-market private equity and debt.
Mr. Kollitides joined Cerberus after it acquired TenX Capital Management, a merchant bank he co-founded as President, that invested in middle-market companies. Prior to co-founding TenX, he was a Principal at Catterton Partners, the largest consumer and retail-focused private equity fund. Mr. Kollitides started his career at GE, where he was Six Sigma trained and where he held a variety of positions in the Corporate Finance and Restructuring Groups, ultimately helping found GE Equity, a global Private equity business.
Mr. Kollitides sits on the boards of Worldwise, Inc., a growing pet product company, Frontier Dermatology, LLC, the largest dermatology practice in the Pacific Northwest and the seventeenth largest in the U.S., adMarketplace, a search advertiser, Precision Aero Gear Group, LLC, a manufacturer of critical gears for aerospace and defense, Teach for America Connecticut, a non-profit organization whose mission is to support our nation’s most promising future leaders, and he is the President-Elect of the New Canaan (CT) Youth Football Board of Directors.
Mr. Kollitides is an active member of the Young Presidents Gold Organization (YPO Gold) and is one of 100 regular members of the Boone and Crockett Club, a conservation organization founded by Teddy Roosevelt. Mr. Kollitides also serves on the Advancement Committee of the Institute for the Study of War and holds a U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret clearance (inactive).
Mr. Kollitides previously served on the Lafayette College Trustees’ Financial Policy Committee, as the vice chairman of the Orthopedic Foundation for Active Lifestyles, various wildlife conservation organizations, a director of Good Sports New York Advisory Board, a Trustee of the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation, a board member of DOMUS, a residential program for vulnerable Connecticut youth, and as a volunteer fireman for 10 years.
Mr. Kollitides holds an MBA in Finance and Management of Organizations from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics with a Minor in Government and Law from Lafayette College.

Walter McLallen
SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR
Walter McLallen is the co-founder and Senior Managing Director of Aegis Capital Advisors (“ACA”). He also holds the title of Principal.
In addition to his role with ACA, Mr. McLallen is the Co-Chairman and a founding member of Tomahawk Strategic Solutions and has been the principal of Meritage Capital Advisors, advising corporations in structuring debt and private equity transactions and providing strategic consulting, since 2004.
He is a Director of publicly-traded OneSpaWorld Holdings (OSW:NASDAQ), the pre-eminent global provider of health and wellness services and products onboard cruise ships and in destination resorts around the world, The Lovesac Company (LOVE:NASDAQ), a direct-to-consumer specialty furniture brand with showrooms supporting an e-commerce delivery model, and Centric Brands Inc. (CTRC:NASDAQ), a lifestyle brands collective in the branded and licensed apparel and accessories sectors. In addition, Mr. McLallen is also a Director of Timeless Wine Company, the producer of Silver Oak, Twomey and OVID wines, and several other privately-held consumer-focused, manufacturing and healthcare companies.
He was an advisor to and Director of the Remington Outdoor Company and its predecessors from 2006 through June 2015 and served as Chairman or Vice Chairman of the Board for the last five years of such period. Mr. McLallen was a Managing Director of CIBC World Markets from 1995 to 2004, during which he was Head of Debt Capital Markets from 1997 to 2004, as well as Head of High Yield Distribution from 2001 to 2004. Mr. McLallen held Associate and Vice President positions at The Argosy Group from 1990 through 1995 and was an Analyst in the mergers and acquisitions department at Drexel Burnham Lambert from 1988 to 1990.
Mr. McLallen currently serves on the non-profit boards of Tomahawk Charitable Solutions, Teton Valley Ranch Educational Foundation and the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. He is a Regular Member of the Boone and Crockett Club, an Ordensbrother in the Order of St. Hubertus, and supports numerous conservation and military-related charities. Mr. McLallen received a B.A. in Economics and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his son.

Charles "Bart" Nichols
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Charles “Bart” Nichols is a Managing Director of Aegis Capital Advisors (“ACA”). Mr. Nichols has over 20 years of experience in sourcing, executing and managing private equity transactions as well as numerous debt transactions spanning a variety of situations and industry sectors including entertainment, telecommunications, industrial technology, medical devices and equipment rental, among others. He has served on the Board of Directors for all of the transactions that he led and was typically also serving on the Compensation Committees as well.
In addition to his role with ACA, Mr. Nichols is a senior executive with the aerospace-focused investment firm, Jet Capital.
Prior to Jet Capital, Mr. Nichols was a Managing Director of a $1 Billion USD denominated out-bound private equity fund for Fosun Group based in Shanghai China. Fosun Group is one of the largest private conglomerates in China. While at Fosun, Mr. Nichols led and closed the first foreign LBO ever completed at the company and was responsible for managing and mentoring a team of 13 junior investment professionals both in Shanghai and NYC.
Prior to Fosun, Mr. Nichols was a Managing Director at APCO Capital, a lower middle-market private equity sponsor based in Salt Lake City, Utah, which invested in for-profit healthcare education, aquaculture, aviation services and NPL portfolios and servicing.
Previously, Mr. Nichols was a Senior Vice President at Cerberus Capital Management, a New York based private investment fund with over $25 billion in capital under management. While at Cerberus, Mr. Nichols led a number of transactions in the telecommunications, entertainment and general industrial sectors. Prior to Cerberus, Mr. Nichols was a founding partner of Black Diamond Capital Partners, a Utah based private equity sponsor and began his finance career as an investment banker at NationsBank/Montgomery Securities in Charlotte, NC and NYC
Mr. Nichols has been involved in a number of charities and volunteer organizations including Chi Fan for Charity in Shanghai and was the men’s crew coach at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill while studying for his MBA.
Mr. Nichols received his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University. Mr. Nichols currently resides in Park City, UT.

John Buck
MANAGING DIRECTOR
John Buck is a Managing Director with Aegis Capital Advisors. He joined the firm in 2023 and serves as a member of the investment team.
John has extensive experience working with companies stressed or distressed.by loss of profitability, liquidity, or support from their existing capital providers. John has a unique blend of experience as business advisor, interim executive, and debt/equity investor. He acutely understands the significant challenges that confront owners and executives who suddenly find themselves having to navigate often hostile negotiations with vendors, landlords and lenders and the myriad of advisory firms seeking to profit from expensive in-court insolvency processes. As the company's trusted advocate, John distills hostility by seeking creative, cost-efficient operational, financial, and capital solutions to stabilize the company and restore it to health.
John has worked with hundreds of companies across a wide range of industries, with specific focus on middle market companies in the consumer/retail, SAAS/technology, and business services sectors. His current engagements include serving as fractional CFO for a healthcare technology company, M&A leader for a pharmaceutical services company, and active board member for a business services company.
Prior to Aegis and starting his own advisory business, John was Managing Principalat DW Partners, a credit- focused multi-strategy asset manager overseeing ni excess of $4 billion, where he co-led the firm's Middle- Market Special Situation Group. His team committed over $300 million in capital to a number of debt/equity investments including RadioShack, SFX Entertainment, Paramount Building Solutions, and ECI Telecom.
Prior to joining DW Partners, John was Managing Director at Versa Capital Management, where he originated and executed numerous distressed debt purchases, buyouts, and financing transactions, including CivitasMedia, Bob's Stores, Eastern Mountain Sports, Black Angus Steakhouses, Bridgestreet, Avenue Stores, and Polartec. He was a director of Civitas Media LLC, a consolidation of community newspapers. Prior to joining Versa, John was Vice President at Cerberus Capital Management. He was a co-founder of Ten Capital, a partnership backed by Cerberus that focused on control investments in underperforming technology, telecommunications, and business services companies.
John is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University's Fox Graduate School ofBusiness, where he earned a Bachelor of Science ni Bioengineering and Master of Business Administration (Beta Gamma Sigma), respectively. John was a co-founder of Project Mags, a Philadelphia-based charitable movement that raises money for Catholic Social Services. John is an adjunct professor at Villanova University where he received a Master of Arts. He has presented on numerous panels addressing topics on distressed investing, turnarounds, and credit markets on behalf of the Turnaround Management Association, Commercial Finance Association, Association for Corporate Growth, the Wharton School of Business, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

John Day
MANAGING DIRECTOR
John Day currently serves as the Managing Director for Operations of Aegis Capital Advisors (“ACA”). In this capacity, he’s responsible for leading, developing, and optimizing the operational aspects of newly acquired and growing business opportunities. Mr. Day has served in leadership and operational roles from start-ups and mid-market companies to leading large organizational P&Ls in commercial and government contracting entities for over 15 years.
Prior to Aegis, Mr. Day was the Director of Operations at Mudrick Capital Management, an institutional investment firm specializing in distressed credit investing in the U.S. and European credit markets with $4B AUM. Here he was responsible for supporting the CIO, Investor Relations, and Research Analyst staff in coordinating current staff actions and assisting in planning future investment opportunities.
Prior to Mudrick Capital, Mr. Day served as Senior Vice President of FreshAir Sensor where he led the Operational and Product management for an Electro-Chemical Sensor technology company that was a tech leader in the hospitality and gaming industry. In this capacity Mr. Day helped grow the business by launching new products, driving cost-out initiatives for legacy designs, and improving assembly and key sources of supply both in the US and internationally.
Previously, Mr. Day served as the Chief Operating Officer and Product Development lead of SilencerCo where he led the design, development, and manufacturing aspects of the outdoor industry company.
Prior to SilencerCo, Mr. Day was a P&L Leader and GM for Remington Defense (Remington Outdoor Company) where he was responsible for developing, designing, manufacturing and negotiating government contracts for US and international defense contracts.
Prior to his business experiences, Mr. Day served in the United States Marine Corps and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in various leadership and operational billets. He served two combat tours in Iraq with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines (3/2) for OIF 1 (Weapons Company Commander) and OIF 3 (Battalion Operations Officer) in Iraq. During OIF 3, then Major Day serving as the Battalion Operations Officer 3/2 led the largest major offensives since Fallujah by orchestrating and leading Operation Matador against foreign fighter cells along the Syrian border in 2005. Upon completing his 2nd Combat Tour, Major Day was assigned as a founding member of the newly formed Marine Component of USSOCOM, Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC). While at MARSOC, Major Day was one of the founding members who assisted in establishing the trainings and standards for the newly formed unit.
Mr. Day holds a BA in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University.
